Here is a list of reasonably decent gigabit switches suitable for home use.
In some cases you might need more pro gear though.

Anyways, the low end unmanaged switches can be messy. In a standard mixed enviroment with DAWs, Logic nodes, grafix workstations, servers and a wife with her own networked macs ( uh.. and kids.. ) a pro managed 24 port switch will be the best choice anyway. With Logic nodes and midi and audio piped over ethernet it is best to set up VLANs in order to isolate traffic.

However something like this:
