I just wish it didn't have the chuffing white noise sound over the top (I think that spoils it a tad). It really doesn't need this effect, because the rest of the demo is brilliant. Very Happy Cool

VERY nice!

I don't know about removing the white noise - maybe reduce the level a tad....??

Thanks guys,
I needed a thread or pulse to run through the track to keep time like a click track when I recorded it.
I found the "pulse" from a reverb pedal and wanted it it to be my drum section.
I filtered it with another pedal and it is..WAY LOUD in the mix.
I am guilty...but I do not care!
To be honest , I could not believe I even found that sound with in the pedals:-)

Thanks again for listening!

Kraftwerk were, I believe, big EH users anyway were they not?

I think Bill, you just worked out exactly how they got that bass sound, don't you think? Listening to the original, there's no way that that sound was just a MiniMoog. I've pondered on that thought for years!! Laughing

You gotta give credit though, to the late great Conrad Plank, who was mostly responsible for the production and engineering on Autobahn.

Tom

I don't believe they used EHX stuff but I know they used the Moog and EMS synth,s.

What is fascinating to me is the Electro Harmonix MicroSynth that I used was designed by the same man that designed the EMS Synthi.
His name is David Cockerell and he is a genius.
You can hear the filtering is very close!
He designed a lot of the EHX stuff and THAT is why the stuff is so crazy good.

I had an advert from the mid 1970's from Electro-Harmonix. On the subject of the "Frequency Analyzer", the ad said; "German band Kraftwerk, use the Frequency Analyzer to stretch their guitar neck to over 19 feet long".

So there! Razz

FWIW, David Cockerell, also designed the Akai S900, 950, 1000, and 1100 samplers!
