Welcome, Soundfreak.
You stuff rocks.
I don't have much stuff on mp3 format on the web
Check out http://mp3.com/mosc and http://xeroid-entity.com
I'm confused you your use of the word ambient. I normally don't think of ambient music as having a heavy beat. Maybe this woulld be a good topic in itself. |

Hey mr. SoundFreak. Great to have you here!!
I will check out your music a bit more when I have my next online session. I did sample one song and I liked that one a lot.
Ambient... well.. to me it seems like there are at least 2 schools within ambient... one being the Brian Eno - Music for Airport school.. the other goes more in the direction of soundscapes mixed with beats. That said.. soundscape music is far older than Brian Eno.. and I have had friends go.. "hey.. that is some cool ambient music.. and maaaan.. it is vinyl.. hip stuff!" when I play old Arne Nordheim LPs. |

Brian Eno I'm familiar with, but not Arne Nordheim. Fill me in, please. |

OKDOKEY! He is one of the big names.. and the stuff he makes is good and some is very good.

A good place to start is listening to the early 80s LP - The Tempest
I saw that piece live back then. Great. And the first 5-8 minutes of the recording is high grade stuff! Great! |
