They will start making synths too and polkaracks and polkaboards and whatnot.
They should hire us as consultants!
It is interesting to see how Behringer is expanding. In one way it is a good thing having companies like Behringer taking care of the low end of the market. Some of the products are quite decent all things considered. Behringer is making a decent profit too, I am sure. The scary thing is of course if someone at Behringer decided to go for the mid and high end segments too. Theoretically it is quite possible for Behringer to make absolutely top notch gear at 1/5-1/3 the price of what such products are costing now. It would be great for the comsumers but it would kill all the small specialist companies. That I think would be a disaster.
