Hi,

Does anybody know what brand and model the rotary encoders in the G2
are? Is the encoder separate to the led ring? I'm only looking for the
encoder..

I'm making a midibox kit at the moment and I'd like some knobs with a
similar feel to the G2.

Well based on this pic of a nord lead 3 encoder

looks like it's a variation of this bourns encoder

Anyone confirm if this is the same in the G2? Don't have mine here right now.

I think they are indeed separate (The LEDs are on their own circuit board), but I have not taken a G2 knob apart .

I've seen a NL3 panel motherboard at NAMM it may provide a clue.
