Hello, I am coming back to chucK using miniAudicle after a long break...
I am trying to write a .wav file using the 'rec' program given in the chucK online examples (using WvOut, see attached file). This gives me an empty file in my home directory, with the name as specified in rec.ck, but no audio. I am adding the rec.ck file to the VM while another chucK file is running...

Any ideas? Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason,

Do you try to stop the VM before reading your file?

I don't know for Mac but on Windows and Linux, I must stop the VM else I cannot acces to the wav file.

hey, thanks for you reply! I can't believe I overlooked that, I thought I had tried every combination with the VM and the shreds and ... but that works! I'll try harder before asking another dumb question again...
