for the people that still use winamp Cool

I was curious if you could playback the file created with the streamripper plugin while it is being created.
Since mp3 is streamable to begin with I thought this might work. So I gave it a try and yes, that does work Very Happy

Setup:
Winamp A: Plays a live stream (prerecorded mp3's don't work) and has the streamripper.
Winamp B: Plays the recording that is being created by the streamripper from Winamp A.

The file has to be of a certain length for it to work (a bit under a minute) but maybe that has to do with some buffer size that can be adjusted.
You can play a shorter file but it will cut off at the end, once it has reached a certain lenght it will continue to keep playing. You can put Winamp B
on repeat so it will just restart the file untll it is long enough. A nice feature is that you can of course skip through the ripped recording which will
also adjust the delay time.

You can probably do a similar thing with other media players that have a recording option.
