The new Turion CPU is a wonderful processor but I was especially impressed with the independant video memory. Any casual gamer can rejoice in a system with an actual video card. 100gb HD and winxp pro are nice too.

I am working (amongst other gear) with an ACER Aspire 1360 right now, together with the Audiophile USB audio card. I have experienced difficulties recording, especially when using the SPDIF interface. I have trouble setting the sample rate and I sometimes end up having to resample recorded material as the audiophile insisted on working on 48KHz while the project is set in 44.1 KHz... The driver does not allow configuring the audiophile in terms of sample rate.... The funny thing is that I only have this with my ACER laptop, not with my Fujitsu, nor with my HP...... Could I be doing something fundamentally wrong? That said, I enjoyed the Sempron 3000+ power on many occasions, both for video and audio.
Cheers,
