| Mark, I might have a datasheet for that one. Let me check when I get home after work. I'll let you know either way. |

Well you are in luck, I do in fact have the SN76488N datasheet. I also have the datasheet for the SN94281.
Anyway I don't have a scanner handy, what do you need to know about the 76488? |

| Got my PCB and my SN chip, now, also about halfway stocked on parts for it... this ought to be fun. I'll need to get a +/-15v supply, though, unless you think it'll run off of 12... |

my best guess is that it will run off +/-12v. you should try it! _________________ Sneak-Thief - raw electrofunk |

If you have a split 12VDC supply, go for it and see before you spend the cash. It will most likely operate fine. The 76477 and 4046 will get their 5 VDC from a regulator I added so only the operational amplifiers are biased from the split supply. At 12V, you will not go anywhere near the rail.
Good luck and report the result!!

Cool, I hadn't really looked at the schems yet. Once I'm built I'll try it off of +/-12 and see if it works, report back here.
Thanks. |

OK, good. If you follow the calibration closely, you should have success. With +/-12 VDC connected, you should be able to adjust the triangle output for good symmetry about ground and 10 volts peak to peak signal with no clipping and a linear ramp should be observed.
Good luck !! |

Wow, only 8 boards left !! Thats 53 sold and 53 more Thomas Henry SN Voice 1V/Oct. synthesizers out there to make some cool music and FX!
I am building my second synthesizer, plugging it into my rack and making some music with it over the vacation .... along with making some Clangora samples....
I will also be getting a rig together for "Electro Music 2007" !! I want to write new material for the event

I don't know if there is any similarity, but the data sheet for the 76489 is at:
