Ok this is driving me crazy for a while.
I got an Ensoniq Paris DAW for a while.
I got a Motu Midi Time Piece as a midi converter.
Paris only sends MTC as a clock signal to my Motu.
But how the hell can i convert MTC to midi clock?

I was looking at midi ox and then I somehow remembered this post ... erm .. because of : http://www.midiox.com/cgi/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=query;action=display;num=1017688372 actually.

The problem is that MTC is fundamentally incompatible with MIDI clock, as MTC keeps a time sync between two devices and knows nothing about BPM, whereas MIDI clock knows about BPM and nothing about how late it is.

Basically that's what it boils down to, MTC tells you what time it is and MIDI clock tells you how fast to play. I would not know how to convert, the systems are orthogonal ... from different universes ...
