Access issues statement regarding Waldorf |
| Quote: | It is with deep regret that we heard last week about the demise of Waldorf Music AG and their associated companies. We had much to thank them for through the distribution facilities supplied to us both by TSi GmbH, and our growth as a leading synthesizer manufacturer since 1996 has in part been a result of their early support. We continued to utilise TSi as a distribution partner over the next 4 years but then decided to undertake a commercial re-structure of our own organisation in 1999. Access Music Electronics GmbH took over the distribution and marketing of the Virus synthesizer. From early 2000, Access and Waldorf were no longer being distributed together. In the same year we founded Kemper Digital GmbH, who provide state of the art OEM solutions to several renowned companies within the musical instrument industry. In 2003, Kemper Digital took over the distribution of Access Music products. Both Kemper Digital and Access are 100% privately-held companies, based in Recklinghausen, Germany. In recent months, we have again expanded our R & D team to meet the increased needs of our Access product range development and OEM activities. If we were asked for a 2004 company mission statement, it would be ³the creation of next-generation musical instruments for future generations of musicians². Thank you for your support over the years. We look forward to rewarding that support with ongoing superlative products for many years to come.

I certainly hope they survive in this difficult market.
Something strange happened here. I started listening to the Virus mp3 demos on the site and Sparky got up and left the room. |
