Serge M-Class based system |
 |
|
I would like to start building a Serge system based around M-Class modules, and would love to hear everyone's input regarding what a good starting point might be. I am probably looking to get about 3-4 modules for start, and expanding from there. Was thinking of the following as an initial setup:
- Creature
- Gator
- Sequencer A
Does this sound like a good combination for starts? Any other combinations I should be considering? I might have enough of a budget to add a fourth module fairly soon, and would be great to hear opinions about what might be complementary. |

| I guess I should write a little bit about what it is I am looking to do with this system. I currently work with an EMS Synthi that I will be selling to help finance this purchase. I am looking for an extremely flexible system that is more open than the synthi, and am looking more to focus on complex rhythmic patches rather than "build" subtractive synth patches. I have other synths I can do this with. I want to use this modular to make crazy, complex, evolving rhythmic stuff that is kind of all over the place, and for crazy audio processing. |

The creature and gator are definitely a pair. the Sequencer A would also be nice clocked with crazy pulses from the gator.
the wave processor would be a good 4th m-odule.or some more oscillators.....maybe the quadslope. |
