Hi,

Ia very interested in Radio broadcasting,

I have done a little research in to DAB but other than that im a bit unsure.

Can anybody help me to understand the basics or being a radio braodcaster or what things i should definitly look into.

Would really appreciate it. I am going to be taught it next year and want to get a head start if you know what i mean.

Yup.. that thread is a nice start.


You might want to split the broadcasting Q into three parts.

First you have the actual content/content creation thingie.
Then you have the copyrigts issues, and then you have the actual tech of broadcasting.

What exactly is it you want to know about? By itself, the copyrights issue might break a budget broadcasting project, but let us say that you can just hand all that paper work and the bills over to the accounting department, then you are still left with a lot of issues to sort out. Radio journalism itself is a huge field.

Hi im just looking for what i am more than likely to be taught,

Eg. where i will probably start of in the modual and step by step what broadcasting is.

I will look at the links you have offered and the stuff to ak my self.
