Microwave XT (before i buy) |

I'm planning to buy this synth. does anybody have experience using it?
i've read on a site that some parameter (osc 1 semitone...) will click when you edit them. is it still the case when the parameter is modulated? |

the manual convinced me. sounds like a very flexible synth. i'm gonna try it tommorow but i'm afraid i'm not going to be able to test it properly in the music store. the micro q is an option too. |

Cubase has some "latency" settings... at least on the mac. You checked in those? As far as I know the XT is not known to be "late" _________________ A Charity Pantomime in aid of Paranoid Schizophrenics descended into chaos yesterday when someone shouted, "He's behind you!"

those kind of system exclusive messages start with "F0" and end with "F7"
F7 is called EOX (End Of Exclusive). if you see an F7 at the end it means the message is complete, otherwise it could mess up your beloved XT _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

Hi! IMHO, DEFINITELY buy an XT if you can afford one! (I'm sorry i sold mine).
This synth makes sounds like no other! If you like non-trad sounds, and "something completely different", THIS is the synth to buy!
For a sampling on the kind of way-out sounds it can make, go to my site (below), then onto the "Ambient" page.....listen to "The Scarecrow Flies At Night"......
That's 100% XT!
This synth is destined to become a Classic!
