yes-and I just got a order (50) and of 10 I tested, 10 worked..so just FYI. VERY VERY CHEAP (i think like 3or 5$ for 50) and decent quality.

Have you tried switching potentiometers? sometimes its a noisy pot or scrthced section of the copper semicircle in the pot..prob not but i try to check the easiest thing first even if its less likely.
