Friday Dec 8th::: Chicago Junglebop Workshop w/ Spacehorn7000
"a nite of modern jazz experimentation with jazz standards, incorporating bebop/harbop/postbop mixed with jungle, glitch, drumNbass, and other progressive rare grooves."
8pm-midnite Spacehorn7000 opens...open jam afterwards. all are welcome if you come to perform
this new series of modern jazz with us at the Muse.

"think squarepusher, red snapper, early 70's fusion, warp records, IDM" we coined the term "FREESPAZZ" for a reason. this is the nite that the hardcore experimenters in both electronic, acoustic, and hybrid setups can turn wits and eyebrows, at over 200 bpm. If you're a drummer, be prepared, this workshop is not for the meek. laptopist, samplers, djs..bring your equipment and an open mind. Top of the line Bag End PA is for our usage this nite. respekt, selector.

Tuesday Dec 19th::: The Jazztronik Experiment with dj Don solO
"This monthly exercise in postjazz, and abstrakt techno has turned many musicians & critics' heads
in chicago. There is no where else in town where you can witness or be a part of such a modern nite of experimentation. Think electronic setting the pace and select electro-acoustic setups of instrumentalists throwing down around the techno environment, which is started by and cued by dj don solo. It gets amazing real quick. if you're interested in partaking, go to the link above and email don smithivas your interest and what you may want to add to the mix. If you just wanna see the flavor that is being injected at muse cafe, simply bring it! This is about as Newyork as it gets out here in the midwest! come, support, buy a latte, some food. byob---all ages 8pm-midnite
