Nord modular problem

Hi all!! I've a problem with my nordomodular g1. I'd like to use it as a filter, if I connect the "out" of my audio card in the "in" of the modular and the "out" of the modular in the "in" of my audio card goes all in feedback? Can I use it as a normal filter( for example mutator, akai mfc42, sherman)? Thanks Regards Angelo

Well, it is completely possible to use the NM-1 as a hardware insert in a DAW ( and most decent DAWs like Logic Pro can do this ). There might be latency issues but you should check out your DAW´s manual for how to tweak this.
Your soundcard is another matter altogether. You don´t want to send your mix monitoring feed out. What you want is to send a buss out and then back in, or simply set this up as a channel insert.
Anyways, I do this all the time with my NM-1 and it works great.

What I want to do is to filtrate with my nm a signal, and put this in logic, that comes from a buss of logic and pass through my soundcard
