PS3100 Resonator PCBs Subject description: SOLD OUT |
 |
|
okay, we now have more than 40 pre-orders/reservations.
i will accept more advance-orders/reservations until
WEDNESAY 21 FEB 07, 12:00 UTC
------
okay, that's it! as said before i close the list of advance-orders now. nevertheless i'm still taking requests and will start a waiting-list.
everybody who made an advance order got a PM already.
i will take no money as long as i have not got the PCBs and populated and tested at least one board. so don't hurry.
the production and delivery of the PCBs will take at least two weeks.

I might be interested, depending on cost.
I'm not interested in an integrated LFO or status LEDs so if you design that to be optional that would be great. |

okay, here we go:
the price of a PCB will be 13,-$ or 10,-EUR via paypal.
shipping will be evaluated the next days (about 6$/4EUR)
the circuit works at 12V either. the doepfer connector i allready there.
for sound samples see next page of this thread (i added a sample from a 12V powered resonator for comparison)
as soon as there're 40 reservations i will start a run.
we are at 38/40

the LFO is an independent circuitry, the LEDs need only three more resistors over all and you can omit them - so it's up to you _________________

fonik--
put me down for 2.
a small suggestion: you might consider changing the power connector to a 4x .156" header (+v, G, G, -v)... Blacet, CGS, Oakely, and MOTM all use that convention, and it would make it easier for many folks to integrate (and no harder for doepfer/AS folks)...
thanks for offering to do these! this is a GREAT time to be doing DIY analog modulars, with all the new designs folks are coming up with and so generously sharing. much appreciated.

i second that, this does not seem a big change in design.
Besides that, i'll take 2 boards. |

the better choice is to put several power connecters. As i see, the space is given.
Perfect would be:
Motm + Doepfer 10 pin ( into the doepfer holes the Dotcom connector fits too.
edit: oh, sorry, it's 15V. does it works with 12V ? () if not maybe Motm and Dotcom )
think about please. Last edited by Funky40 on Wed Feb 14, 2007 7:27 am; edited 3 times in total |

Best place in the world to buy Vactrols (as far as I know) is Allied Electronics here in the states.
Three for each resonator at a 40 piece run would be 120 VTL5C3/2s, which would put them in the bulk price range of $2.40 apiece.
Cheers,
