chip named SAD1022.

think EG Reticon was the original, Philips bought it. Lord knows how fast it took them to crush it from existence. I remember EG on the original chip faces, but the Philips face is on most later (1976?) faces.

I have a datasheet of the TDA1022 from "Valvo" (German manufacturer)

"C.H.F. Müller GmbH" started in the begin of the last 20 century in Hamburg; later the company was called "Radioröhrenfabrik GmbH";
in 1924 they changed the name to "Valvo GmbH"
later it was bought by Philips but it still exists in out days: http://www.valvo.com/

The "traurig" bit is that I'm moving house and packed up the lot. Now I wouldn't know in which of the many boxes these treasures are hidden. I think I still got some 10 or 20 BBDL of different brands & sizes.

Maybe we can do a swap of some sorts...

Decades ago, I build a model DnT Dr. Boehm organ from a kit and since then I made electronics my hobby. I even still have that original circuit from Dr. Boehm Lesley rotor. Pretty wild sounding thing with 3 TDA1022 in it.
