Calendar Event: July 5, 2004 - July 9, 2004

The Art of Immersive Soundscapes

Regina, Canada, from July 5-19 2004.

In a nutshell, up to 25 participants will have the opportunity to
work on soundscape
creation with five nationally renowned artists. They are Peter Hatch
(composer,
Wilfrid Laurier University); Steve Heimbecker (indepedent audio artist,
Montreal); Linda Duvall (audio and visual artist, Saskatoon); Barry
Truax
(electroacoustic composer and sound designer, Simon Fraser
University); and
Darren Copeland (electroacoustic composer and sound designer, and
President of
the Canadian Association for Sound Ecology).
