Hi folks - I'm looking for some nice round small illuminated panel-mounting push button switches. All the stuff I've been able to find so far looks either a bit clunky, or too automotive. Any ideas ?

Pete.

I assume you don't want momentary?
There are a couple of momentary ones which look okay, contain a LED, PCB mount, though you could maybe put them on a little mounting board etc.

Nice ones are hard to find and expensive.

If you want to DIY, have a look at the midibox forum on ucapps.de. There are some good ideas for making these yourself.

Thanks guys - momentary is fine (will be reading with a micro, so not a problem). I really need through panel mounting as I don't want to have to use a board behind, although I guess I might have to go this route.

Will check out the DIY link, but really want commercial parts - price isn't too much of an issue, as long as they're not stupidly expensive.

Thanks,
Pete.

Electro-mech has the best looking ones I've seen and they are panel mount. I've never seen any distributors though.

Hey, those are really nice! The only trouble is that the listed UK representative seems to be an aircraft supplier, so I guess that they might be very expensive Sad
