Sorry...does that mean you're expecting us to PM you or that we should be looking for PMs FROM you?

I'm probably still in for 2, though I haven't seen a price mentioned yet.

I haven't sent a pm either, though I posted that I would take two back in March...

Take care,
Doug

I have tallied up your names and made a list of qty. so get ready.

As previously mentioned in this thread (23rd April) - but to reconfirm - I'll take 1 board, thanks.

so here's a look at where it's at- pretty dense Smile I have taken to standing some parts up vertically as I tweak to make space, starting to think I should go 4.2"x3" [will still fit between Euro/frac rails as well as behind a Buchla sized panel.] instead of the 4"x3" i was shooting for.. would make for some more comfortable spacing esp around the corners where its REALLY tight

any objections to this? I can't really see any downside myself really. it would be the same size as a TWF board.

If it still fits behind a panel for everyone please, more wiggle room Smile

yeah, I think it will work for everyone. for those making Serge like panels, it's not exact, but I imagine they have to be very resourceful to squeeze all those DIY boards behind them anyways [except Ken's]

More room is better, but do what you have to do...I'll be putting it behind a 5U panel anyway.

ok, done in 4.2" x 3". and it's STILL tight!! wow. this is the densest board I have done to be sure. can't wait till the 'smd revolution' in diy Wink

anyways- there are SOME smd. just bypass caps on the bottom of the board, 4-5 if I can squeeze them in, 0805 size. they really are easy to install I promise..

also- I was not able to line all the ins/outs up into neat little rows- you have a few stray pads here and there. but the wiring will be 20X easier than wiring 2 of the previous boards together.

more later/ PS if anyone wants to go in on protoboards with me, PM me please [this means you can build yours right away and let me know how it goes Wink] if we do 5 pcs, they'll come out to around $25-$30 ea. with the shipping..

OK well we're very close to ordering time now!! Smile

Great news, and the layout looks great! I just started doing layouts, and so far haven't used my own schematics yet, just done some redesigns of others floating around. I haven't done anything that dense yet. I've been trying to get better at my routings though to get sizes down like that. Nice!
