Hello.
I`ve just finished my SoundLab Plus, and as I turned it on, there was no sound. None, not even a spark or hiss or...well, there was silence.

Checking the pcb, I discovered that R89 was 2M, and not 200K as it`s supposed to be. Could this cause the problem? And could it cause other problems as well, like damaged components?

RubberSound.

R89 - in the LFO section. Not likely to be the cause of your problem, and I can't imagine you hurt anything.

If it does nothing at all, check your power supply connections and switching first.
After that, the most likely issue if you have NO sound would be output jack wiring or other 'flying wires' to pots, switches and jacks.
Check for solder 'bridges' - unintentional blobs of solder on the underside of the board.
Check IC orientation, and correct polarization of capacitors.

Good luck!

I'll add one of my own favorite goofs to the collection: if you used IC sockets (a very good idea), make sure you didn't squish the IC's legs under the chip package or otherwise mis-install something.
