I'm using DC-capable USB audio interface (CM108 codec) to drive my newly-built synth. I was able to connect it to amplifier, to play it loud, but when i tried to connect it to computer for recording (built-in Realtek HD Audio) it messed up everything - it couldn't play anymore in scale, and send envelopes. I disconnected - its normal again. Same thing with mixer. I'm pretty sure its a grounding issue. So Where everything should go (4 USB pins + chasis, also LR out, L in, both have different ground buses [no beep on DVM])? I'd really like to get it to record, i can play it for hours but cannot make a single recording - it drives me mad.
