Has anyone tried Diy-Layout-Creator? It's a free multi-platform electronic schematic and pcb layout editor. It looks pretty cool. I've downloaded and played around with briefly and am so far impressed.

Is it supposed to let me enter a schematic and then take that to a PCB or stripboard layout? Or is it just a drawing tool?

Its a drawing program optimized for drawing schematics and laying out single sided pcbs for making homemade (press n peel style) boards.

Ok. I didn't mean to sound like it was a terrible thing to be a drawing tool Smile

I use DIYLC all the time - mostly for stripboard layouts. It's Java based, so cross platform. Early versions used to be buggy, but now it's running stable on my mac...
