K2000r power failure

I wonder if anyone can give me some insight into the possible fault with my K2000r. It hadn't been used for a few months, and I replaced the RAM battery back up before powering on. It started on it's initialisation routine and then the power just failed completely. Fuses are intact and I can see no obvious signs of any caps leaking or connections off. Someone on the Kurzweill yahoo group has suggested cold joints on the inductor, but maybe the transformer has packed in (?). Any advice appreciated, but it looks like a job for the local repair tech.
