You may like to change the title though cappy, because Apple's latest Macbook is a 2.2 gHz model (which is what I thought this thread was about too!)

One really big turn off for me is that f&*king glossy screen nonsense!! 
I loathe glossy screens! They are almost impossible to read off

I'd still buy a Macbook Air though

For some reason I had expected they had called it Macbook Orgone..
Anyways, considering how the device must look inside then this is a clever and innovative product. Clearly it isn´t for everyone, but I´m sure there is a market for it.

Too bad the resolution isn't better
"The 1280-by-800 resolution", but with a 13.x inch display.....

Nah, I just mistrust the kind of evaluations where you give stars or points or whatever - it's my dadaist protest against that. The question still stands though: Has anybody on here tried it?

I got the new Macbook today. 4 gigs of ram. I like that!

I have. It works great. It also seems to be reasonably foolproof and understandable for ordinary people. It does not offer the bells and balls of say Retrospect, but that is a good thing for most consumers.
Uh.. what I´m really referring to is Time Machine. Time Capsule doesn´t really do much at all. It´s simply a drive inside a base station. -But it does what it is supposed to together with Time Machine.

any capable HD would do if you don't need a base station.
