So you don't need to keep it plugged into a computer, just plug synths straight into the midi out. Really cool!

Great idea, such a shame it had to be B*hr*ng*r Crying or Very sad

I'm torn. I've been hankering after a decent step sequencer for ages, but how far can I trust the reliablity of such an... ermmm... 'affordable' manufacturer? Rolling Eyes

I have the BCF2000, which has faders on it, and a single row of knobs... The motorised faders are ok, but I don't like the knobs... They don't feel very sturdy to be honest, and I hardly use them. That could be just me though... and I don't know if they are the same as on the BCR.

It's not just you. ZAQ have a forum post on hardware issues that they have uncovered during development, which specifically mentions the rotary encoders.
