Sure sounds like a good time!
I will not be able to make it though I hope that someone takes some pictures or something. Also I wonder if any of the lectures or performances will be recorded and posted?
Anyway have fun!

Very Happy

We have two videographers and several photographers that will be documenting the event. We also hope to stream many of the performances and lectures over the internet, but that is not definite yet.

Also, all of the performances will be recorded.
We hope that a fair amount of it will end up on CD.

I'll be conducting interviews (hopefully) with several of the performers, recording directly to mp3 with my iRiver. I'll also be taking pictures with my digital camera and loading both to my laptop at odd points during the show.

Arrangements for streaming the event are going well. There are some technical problems. Jon Almeleh who has handled much audio production for WBAI and Pacifica Radio in NYC has volunteered to head up this activity. We'll have an "offical" announcement about this soon. We need to get the permission of the musicians, of course.

Does that include lectures as well? I've been reading a few posts from Rob around the forums and he's been hinting at some really interesting topics he was thinking of discussing, especially regarding the G2 and shelving/tilt filters and such.

I wish I could go... but being a student living on the other side of the world stops this from happening pretty quickly...

Yes, we hope to stream the lectures too. We aren't holding people to rigorous lectures. Some conference require powerpoint presentations sent in in advance so they can be published. We are allowing for more extemporanious presentations.

Inthe event the streaming doesn't work out, or one is not at a computer when the streams are flying, will these be available as a download at a later date?
