welcome to electro-music.com Very Happy

Thanks man, I'd seen it before (a link from Greg I think) but it took me a while to get my act together and join. Looks like a vibrant community - and I love to vibrate very much.

Paul

I'm not.
Computers are useful things but I have no desire to check my email mid-performance <g>

Hey Paul! Welcome! I have seen your posts on the BEM list. It is nice to see you here too.

That Bogus website is strutting some decent vegetation. No shrooms though Shocked

I'm late to this, so my apologies.

Consider an Emu XL-7, PX-7, or MP-7. It does any time signature you want. You might be able to find it on ebay. That's where I got mine - it came in new condition, shrink wrap and all.

Wow, thanks for all the responses and recommendations. It's been a while since I dropped by here (the forum is kind of huge for a newbie).

I ended up getting an old Roland MC-303 on ebay for a steal of a price, to start out learning how to do sequencing and all that. I will prob have to hold off on polyrhythmic booty bass beats till I know what I am doing and get something more serious. Thanks!

Congrats on the your new instrument.

BTW, maybe the best way to do polyrhythms is to get two preferably different devices. Laughing
