The rupture happened during the examination so things went pretty smoothly, except for the misplaced morphine incident Rolling Eyes

They had sold the stuff to some other client already? ..Or it was still on the wrong side of some border somewhere?

It was 2AM the A&E filled up with staff quite quickly after the rupture and in the confusion, they couldn’t find the vials so someone had to run down a corridor to get some more while I was moaning on the bed. It was probably only a few minutes at the most. I think they gave me the other vials as well when they found them (it’s a new hospital), pretty colours.
They did a great job really and of cause it doesn’t cost a cent for emergency surgery for NZ residents.
