The Cheshire Medical Center has prepared a PHPBB (that's the forum software) users' manual. Our forum has a few additions and customizations (called mods or hacks) which aren't described in this manual, but I think most of the information is valid and useful.

EDIT July 5, 2007 --mosc. The original site is no longer hosting a forum. Here is a link the has a user manual in Section 4:

http://www.phpbb.com/support/documentation/2.0/#section4

If anyone finds anything in this guide that is incorrect or misleading, please let us know by posting a reply to this topic.

Thanks...

I feel sorry for them. It is very difficult to run a website these days. I know, I run two of my own, and they take plenty of my time, and I am a geek and know what I am doing. For people who are trying to run a clean, family oriented site, I can understand completely the reasons to want to stop using phpBB or any other forum site.

Howard and his moderator crew put in a lot of time here to keep the bad actors out. I, for one, appreciate the time it takes to maintain a site, especially with Netmaster's XRumer running rampant around the net.

We can find another phpBB manual. I know there's one over on the phpBB site.
