As I'm starting to work with my G2, I am realizing something that might make the variation feature more usable.

Could the values that change from variation to variation be morphed when changing with a time constant?

Now if you change variation while a note is playing, it glitches.

It would be better if it didn't.

Could be a very good idea.

Meanwhile / FTTB you can use constant modules to paramterize your patch.

When you lead the constant through a glide module before going to the param input it comtols you can create smooth fades.

For params that have no input it can be done with a constant connected to a midi CC send, where the param is made to listen to that CC. It coul be abstracted a bit by adding a morph layer inbetween, with the morph knob listening to the CC. This should be de-zippered I think, well in the last patch I made this way I had no zipper noises.

Requires quite some planing and work this way though, I would certainly like something easier Very Happy
