First I want to say I love this community .. I have been trolling in here for a few weeks and doing nothing but reading and learning. You guys have a great base of people here. With that said ..

I have a Mackie 1202 mixer.. kinda old but its a work horse for what I use it for. It has some pots that are crackly and cut out when turned. What is your suggestions to get it back in order.. should I crack it open and replace the pots? Is there a cleaner/lube I could try first?

Thanks for the help guys

welcome

Noise and bad pots? A contact/cleaning spray might help some. I am sure this is something you can buy at Radio Shack. If this doesn´t help, then you gotta replace the bad pots.
