Calendar Event: April 29, 2004 - April 30, 2004

2 day seminar at Kunsthøgskolen i Bergen, Avdeling Kunstakademiet
29 - 30 april 2004.

Seminar speakers:

DAVID TOOP (London) musician, author, curator
ANNA KARIN RYNANDER (Stockholm) artist
ROBERT WORBY (London) musician and broadcaster
BJARNE KVINNSLAND (Oslo) composer based at Notam (Norwegian Network for Accoustics and Music)
TROND LOSSIUS (Bergen) composer & sound artist, research fellow at Kunsthøgskolen i Bergen
JØRGEN LARSSON (Bergen, Trondheim) composer & sound artist
MAIA URSTAD (Bergen) composer & sound artist
FAST FORWARD (New York) composer, musician and performance artist

Full details of the seminar programme will be announced in april


SOUND/OBJECT - SOUND/SPACE - SOUND/ACTION

The seminar occurs within a three week programme at Kunsthøgskolen, which includes:

* Sound sculpture / sound installation workshop with MAIA URSTAD from 19th. April to 7th. May
Final presentation of the results of MAIA URSTAD's workshop on Friday 7th. May

* Sound / performance project with FAST FORWARD from 26th. - 29th. April
(the project ends with a performance on Thursday 29th. April)

* Introduction course in MAX/MSP with TROND LOSSIUS

* Small group discussions, presentations and tutorials with ROBERT WORBY 3rd. - 7th. May


COURSES AND WORKSHOPS ARE OPEN FOR STUDENTS FROM ALL DEPARTMENTS AT KHIB AND STUDENTS FROM GRIEGAKADEMIET, BUT PLACES WILL BE LIMITED.

Yes, it is! Nice place!
There is a big pop and drum and bass scene in Bergen.
