For my analog sequencer, yes I know these may be already here somewhere, but i have tried etc.
Anyway what I'm after please is :
555 circuit for the clock
4528 circuit for the gate
the rest I can sort my self

There's a couple of designs on Cloned Analog Gear

In particular for the 555 clock have a check of the ETI Seq

You would not believe how hard it is to find a simple LED driver.
You know, two resistors, a tranny, and a LED
Does anybody have one please, to work on 5V
(no chips please)

Check the works of Ken Stone - the Seq / Clock modules on the CGS site have such info (and lots of other usefuls too!)

5V into the collector of a 2N3904.
Emitter to a 680R and then through the LED to GND.
Signal through a 10K and into the base.
Play with the 680R if brightness needs it.
