I know you've all seen the front panel that Damion made. Any idea why he has a few patch points for ground and what I would assume to be +5v? (the green jacks). I'm modeling my front panel after his but I was puzzled to those connections.

I don't think the green ones are connected to 5V, I think they're just multiples. (so you can patch a number of things to the one input) The black ground connections are most likely so that external modules can get a connection to the SLs ground as a reference point.

I modeled my layout after Damions. If you look at the SL pics on the MFOS site. You'll see Wild Zebra's. Any way I think I have the photo shop file still. I removed that section and added a ring mod. Which I've yet to make. So I could look for it if you interested.

Definitely interested. I am working on a patchable sound lab that utilizes banana jacks inside a pistol case (similar to the little briefcase ones that Alan made). I was just curious as to why he had those on there. either way it doesn't look like I'll need those two sections since the patch cables I have are stackable. I've cut the panel already, I just need to mess with the layout, from the looks of things I'm going to have a lot of extra room so I am thinking of other things to add to it. The ring mod sounds like a great addition. Possibly a simple sequencer as well.

Well I cant find the Photoshop Layered file, but here is a couple others. You can cut and paste. Hope it helps. I just went into the color adjustments Hue in hue/saturation, I think, and it will change the panel colors into all sorts of colors. It seemed to be the easist way to scroll through different colors. , or just paint bucket and change the font thats what I did. Hmm I couldn't upload the .PSD So here is a copy. Sorry it's a GIF. Open it in photoshop and bump up the res. It should all right.

Thanks, this will due. I'm pretty good with photoshop so this is perfect. Can't wait to finally have this done, it's been driving me nuts because I can't decide on what else to add to this portable.
