Hi
Try this
http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufacturers/Roland/TR-606/schematics/
Someone cared enough to scan and post them.
The service manuals in those days didn't have much more than that
in them.
I've got a 606 here with white noise permanently coming out the OCH.Hat.
I spose some gate is permanently open.
If anyone has been there please don't hesitate to post.
Meanwhile I'll continue with the detective work which is how I landed here !
Cheers

In case any one is interested the noise turned out to be rather simple
Q 36 on the main board in this case a 2SC603 obsolete toshiba transistor.
Just used a gp 2sc type and worked fine.
So now its controllable noise.....!

cheers

I've got a high quality scan that I did and would be willing to share... can someone host this?

Cheers
Steven
