Inspired by Rob, I was fooling with a chaos formula and stumbled upon this screech sound. So I added some elements and thought I would share. OK it's a bit hokey but someone may find it amusing/useful.
Just press any key (no need to hold down) retriggering upsets the timing Rolling Eyes

Cool! Cool

Posting a short mp3 for our friends who don't have a G2, and a screen scrape. Might be interesting to them.

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

Posting a short story for our friends who don't have an mp3 player but want to know how "warmleatherette" sounds:

a guy driving a car is shot in the head and his car, for this simple reason, hits a wall at full speed Exclamation Shocked

Maybe a little obscure with the title. Refers to the Daniel Miller (The Normal) Track from 1978. Also covered later by Grace Jones. Was going to call it 'Dianna' but that might be pushing the bounds of taste even for me. Wink

I think os1.3 messed up this patch a bit. Car races and crashes at the same time Confused

funny you say that... several of my sequenced patches (and some that aren't) are really messed up now since updating to 1.30

ummm, seems to work as intended sometimes but not always. Perhaps some sort of racing in the logic (horrible pun intended).
Actually, I think it may have just been inexperience on my part, from memory it was flakey from the start. I have updated the patch, not because I think it was any good (it's actually embarrassing), but its better than having a broken one on line.

The new version dumps the complicated network of flipflops and logic delays with a nice foolproof 1 shot envelope and three window switches.
