Montreal Jazz Fest

So I was at the Montreal Jazz fest this week. I really like the midnight series, because it gives the chance to more ambient bands to showcase their talents to the city.

2 shows which really caught my attention. Kid Koala, who I haven't seen in years tore up the stage on the 8th to close out the festival. He had a solid crowd and as usual, played a great set.

The other band which caught my attention, was local band elsiane (www.elsiane.com). They filled up the entire venue (for what I thought was an unknown band). I was impressed with the quality of music and stage presence.

This is not spam, just an appreciator of 2 unrelated bands.

Any one else catch the Jazz Fest this year?
