NL2X demo, saving a layered configuration, etc Subject description: Just a couple of questions |
 |
|
Hi,
As I am still new to VA synthesis, I am not so good at recreating sounds. That is why I was wondering if anyone knew which preset is used (if a preset at all) for creating the strings part of the: demo 3 song
http://www.clavia.se/MP3s/MP3%20files/NL2Xdemo3.mp3
Also, I am beginning to play with layering the sounds and modifying those single sounds within the layered config - can that be called a performance then? A couple of sounds at the same time = performance, right?
My question is, is it possible to save such configuration just like any other performance? (the first 100 locations, etc).
Thanks!

But those first 100 locations are occupied right? So I would be overwritting something already there. I guess there is a possibility to return everything to factory default afterwards. I was also wondering if I could use the Nord Generator to save the performance?
Thanks Wout - you're always fast to reply and give a meaningful and useful info. |

I don't work with the NL2X. NordGen doesn't do Performances, but SendSX is a good substitute, although one can't see the parameter settings, but it works for up and downloads.
