I know what you mean, although it does sound better than the old Lejaren Hiller automatic/algorhythmic music produced in the early 60s.
I''ve heard the word before now several times... please, what is a Feigenbaum System, in plain english ??

is it 'fractal'? and how does it attach itself to this musical example?

I don't know either, but there seem to be potentially two Feigenbaums that could be related to this. Mitchell Feigenbaum has some constants and a function named after him, his work is related to fractals. Then there is the "father of expert systems", being Edward Feigenbaum. The latter is the only one that seems to be linked to "system", as in the "Feigenbaum system" that is mentioned on the website, yet I can't find anything about what that system would be then.

Puzzling Very Happy

http://www.r4nd.org/methot.html - it would appear to be Mitchell Feigenbaum iterated function on this page. Methot's home page doesn't go into this, no values for mu or r.

I'm still waiting for the banjo sounds to appear Cool
