I created a library of roughly 120 custom patches for the MicroKORG, mostly in the vein of vintage, retro keyboard/synth sounds.

Original MicroKORG Patches by Thoracius Appotite.

There's a demonstration song on the page that shows off the different sounds.

It's no problem to load these into your Mac using free software like SysEx Librarian.

I have a pretty nice Tomita style whistle on my old Casio CZ-101. But I've been trying to do learn how to do everything on the microkorg. So I designed a whistle on the MK.

You can DL the "prg" patch by right clicking the link and saving to your computer.

http://aejotz.com/files/whistle.prg

Put the patch in the library file of the MK sound editor and try it out. (Shift up one octave and center the mod wheel for moderate vibrato.)

If you make any improvements, please post the improved version here and share it back to me.
