TAOX PRODUCTIONS
presents
BROTHERHOOD of the DRONE
A compilation of the Dark Art of Drone

Drone is the primordial tone of the Universe.
It has been at the heart of transformational experience since the beginning of time.

Whether the tone is that of the vibration of a planet, the wind of breath in a termite-hollowed tree of the Aboriginal homeland, or an electronic device channeling voltage and computations, the effect of Drone can be both grounding and energetic, soothing and unsettling, ancestral and evolutionary.

Drone and Chant are the Gateways of Shamanism and form a fundamental element in the practice of many meditations. They serve as a means of tuning the self to the greater Oneness. It is the calm sobering hum of the drone that puts one in connection to the musical and vibrational nature of the whole. The Drone awakens man’s energetic spirit and points it toward the vastness from which it came, and to which it will return. It can put us in touch with the pipeline of our true energy source, and deliver us to alternate space and consciousness.

It is in the Spirit of the Drone we have ventured to call forth some of the premier Artists of the elusive Drone underground to add to this collection, each bringing their own Drone to the Greater Drone.

Brotherhood of the Drone - Volume I features 13 diverse tracks from around the World, created on a multitude of unique instruments and reflecting very different approaches and traditions arranged into a smoothly flowing journey through an imaginary landscape beyond time and space.
Let go … and receive the power of the Drone. Drift, relax, and melt into the sound that is older than time itself…the underlying hum of life.
