i want to set up my behringer composer pro mdx2200 as a ducking or pumping side chain effect. this seems possible and the effect is described on page 26 of the manual, but i can't get it right. Embarassed i'm not sure if i have hooked up correctly or if the settings i'm using are bunk.

my possible input/output jacks are the regular AUDIO IN, AUDIO OUT, SC SEND and SC RETURN.

from reading the manual it seems like i should route my kick drum into the SC RETURN but i am not sure where i should input the signal to get ducked. i'm also not sure where the ducked signal will come out (or if it will be mixed with the controller signal).

i could also use some direction on the front panel settings, but can play around there if i know i have my jacks set up right Cool
