The general approach is very similar to the early Yamaha filter module (GX, CSY)...is anyone able to compare a Yamaha modules sound with the MS50's filter......

It's worth visiting Colin Fraser's excellent page on the early Korg filter module

I have a dead Korg 900PS, it seems to use the same chip (big black box) as the MS series. I think I'm going to pull the board out and modularise it.
