Hi,

I know that I'm late, but it looks like the boards haven't been ordered yet. I'd like 4 of them too. Until I listened to the sample mp3s I had no idea what they sounded like.

you should have a look to import taxes.
You get 65CHF in without taxes.
As soon that they charge you a tax, even if it's only 2 CHF, they put 18CHF on top !!! ( schreibgebühr quasi )
paying two time shippment is now in many cases the better option !
thats how managers can generate transit, hehe.........

Hi,

I would really like four of these, if there is still room for orders.

I wasn't familiar with this drum synth until today, and I like the samples posted here.

Cheers

Oli

Thanks

Hi,

I' also like 4 if it's not too late.

thanks

BTW: I've not yet jumped in on one of these group buys, is there anything in particular that I need to do besides announce that I'd like to buy X boards?

hi guys, sorry for the silence. the move to nyc took a lot more out of me than i expected. just got a workshop set up last week.
i had a fail with the first prototype. i should be caught up and able to start dealing with this in a week or so. i'm sure it was a small, stupid mistake and i would have been pretty amazed if it had worked straight away.
but the project staggers forward.
david

hey guys
well, i think i have sorted out most of the problems. it helps a lot when the trigger input is actually connected to something. that and a couple of reversed transistors. i'll be finishing up the troubleshooting tomorrow and hopefully getting another board etched in the next couple of days.
i'm really sorry about the delay. the move to nyc was a lot more stressful than i expected and it's taken a lot longer than i thought to get back up and running.
i'll post more soon.
d

Thanks for the status update! Just speaking for myself, my backlog is so huge that waiting a bit longer for the SDS 3 boards won't hurt a bit.

ok, i't looking like i've sorted out the big issues and found plenty of errors. i'll be etching this and testing again this week.
and if there's anyone on in this thread in the NYC area with a good laser printer, i'd really like to hear from you... my good printer died at the end of last year and i foolishly bought a new one with out checking the thread on printer and got a really really terrible one...
once i get a working layout, i'll do a little optimization and then get a few prototypes produced, then we're off to the races.
anyway, here's the layout. i'll let you guys know how it goes.
david
