Okay, I'm wondering. Is this page:

http://tomscarff.tripod.com/midi_analyser/midi_messages.htm

Is that page accurate so far as MIDI messages go?

I'm builing some cool-assed MIDI utilities and want to make sure I get my data streams right...

I didn't go over it message by message, but it basically seems correct.

Try these out
http://www.harmony-central.com/MIDI/Doc/doc.html

Scroll down to "THE MIDI SPECIFICATION" and download the 4 tables, they give you all the info you should need.
I use these when I program my pics, and they work fine.

Wow! I had no idea that those had become downloadable specs. Up until fairly recently the only way to get the official specs were to order printed copies.
