Finally: Nomad on Debian AMD64 with Micromodular |
 |
|
So, I finally hooked up my Micro Modular (took me a while to buy a DC adapter), and tried out Nomad, on my Linux laptop, runing Debian unstable AMD 64bit.
I had to boot in Vista to set the micro modular to external MIDI clock, before it would connect in Nomad (otherwise I was getting the time outs).
I'm just starting to try things out.
One observation: when I switch patches on the Micromodular (using the buttons), then the connection gets lost and I have to reconnect.
Switching patches from the editor seems to work fine.
Anyway, thanks for this neat piece of software! Makes it much easier for me to work with the Micromod again. |

so...
I might as well start with feature requests...
what about a MIDI controller assignment overview?
I am looking at old patches and wondering which MIDI controller I assigned to what... so it would be nice to have an overview of assigned MIDI controllers, rather than having to check each knob by itself, to see what it has been assigned to. |
