Hello,

I just bought a used Electro 2 and am trying to figure out if the Electro 2 can transmit MIDI via the USB port (I hate dealing with MIDI cables). It is not working for me but I am unsure if this is because Logic is not recognizing the board or if the Nord simply doesn't transmit MIDI via the USB port- the manual certainly makes no mention of it doing so. Thanks for any help!

The Manual is right, also about the NL2 isn't capable of delivering a good cup of coffee Wink The Midi is only transmitted by the Midi ports. USB is only used to upload the sampled sounds.

Thank you...hopefully the Electro 3 will have these capabilities (especially regarding the coffee).

No, the NL3 also only uses USB to upload samples and OS upgrades. All notes and CC's are normal Midi.
